In April of 2016, my husband Dallas and I were given an opportunity of a lifetime, to take over a piece of property that was in need of a little TLC and restore it to its original glory. We had the skeleton for what we knew could be a beautiful retreat and the motivation to repair and update the structures while caring for the land. With a little hard work, we believed it could once again be a place where guests flock to celebrate their special occasions and relax in nature. I have always loved being the hostess with the mostess while Dallas thrives when working with the land and animals, so we both decided to leave our careers behind for a new adventure! Our goal, with the help of our crew, is to provide a unique and welcoming experience for all guests who want to take a moment to unplug and find a little R&R. We also wanted to create and affordable retreat option so that everyday folks, like us, can have an opportunity for some self-care. We believe that wellness comes in many different forms....for some, it may mean being pampered at our spa, spending quality time with family, letting your kiddos find joy during a fairy picnic, learning about plants on a guided hike, reconnecting with your partner with the help of one of our romance packages or just sitting on the porch with a bottle of wine while gazing at the stars! Most importantly, we hope that our guests enjoy the place we call home as much as we do.

What we do
The Wildflower Country Inn and Event Center is a hill country retreat specializing in group lodging, private cottage stays, events, spa services, wellness programs, retreats and weddings. We operate off of a 35 acre property that includes an event center, 3 private cottages, a spa & wellness center, an artisan goods gift shop and a 7 bedroom group rental as well as additional housing for long term residents including some members of The Wildflower Crew. Our homestead boasts a nature trail, vegetable garden, butterfly and bee garden, cut flower garden, peacocks, chickens and goats for all of our guests and residents to enjoy. We utilize our bounty to create seasonal herb and floral arrangements, homemade bath products, organic produce and natural cleaning products. Our mission is to customize each guest’s experience, through a variety of wellness and lodging services, suggested itineraries, events, classes and workshops if you are looking for a full experience. However, we are also able to just provide the setting, through a lodging or event space rental, for you to create your DIY dream.
Our lodging guests range from couple’s, friends and families looking for a quick getaway in one of our cozy cottages to large groups on property for reunions, retreats, weddings and events. At the Wellness Center & Spa we offer a varied menu that includes massage, body rituals, yoga, spiritual nourishment, wellness activities and couple's and group specialty packages. At the Event Center, our specialty is the all inclusive wedding where we take care of all of the details, including planning, decor, staffing and in house florals to create the most stress free weekend possible, ranging from elopements to 150 guests. We also offer the space as a one day facility rental for our DIY Couples, parties, retreat guests and local organizations in need of event space. In between guests, we enjoy inviting out the community for happenings such as festivals, fundraisers, brunches, art shows and wellness workshops. At the Inn, we are proud to offer budget friendly pricing on both lodging and events, so that our fellow, everyday folks have a real opportunity to relax, rejuvenate and celebrate in true hill country style without breaking the bank.
