We fell in love with this couple and were honored to be entrusted to bring their vision of a cross cultural celebration of love to life. Their wedding weekend started off with a traditional Mehndi party for the women at the Main House. The house was more colorful than it has ever been, adorned with each of saris hanging amidst the living room and each of the women's hands beautifully decorated in vibrant henna. At the event hall, the atmosphere of their celebration continued. With a neutral color palette of cream and gold, with bright pops of turquoise, we were able to capture the essence of their respective cultures. Carmen's vision was to incorporate traditional Indian flower curtains, which was brought to life thanks to the The Bloom Bar in San Marcos. The existing aromatic jasmine vines behind the alter enhanced the natural beauty of the space and filled the air with a sweet fragrance, setting the tone for their heartfelt matrimony. Once Carmen and Dinesh had said their "I Do's," the guests were welcomed into the event hall by the festivous melodies from Music Capital Mariachi out of San Antonio. The venue was set up in a family style manner, adorned with delicate Papel Picados hanging from each rafter, and vintage goblets set at each place setting. The couple had hand selected their favorite confections from each of their cultures as favors for guests to take home. Dessert consisted of delectable, vegan cupcakes from Skull and Cake Bones out of Austin, which were each decorated with mini flags that represented multiple flavors and depicted important times in their lives together, such as colleges attended and places where they have lived. All of the incredibly thoughtful touches this couple had selected for their celebration really made this affair a personalized fusion of two cultures. Many thanks to Sweetleaf Photography for capturing this marvelous occasion!

We kick started our summer weddings off, with this very colorful, very Bohemian celebration of love. Diana & Miles were truly a fun & laid back pair, so we aimed to plan a wedding that reflected their care-free nature, while allowing them to focus on what was most important...enjoying the festivities with their family and friends! To achieve this eclectic look, the bride and her family handpicked the vintage glassware & vases from local antique and thrift stores & then we mixed in a few favorite pieces from our inventory. All of the flowers were grown at our treasured local flower farm, Arnosky Farms, and Diana and her wedding party put together their very own flower crowns and bouquets under the instruction of Floral Philosophies (who is also responsible for the amazing alter arrangement, btw!). This is a great way to save some $$$ on your flowers while having some fun. Our talented Kamryn Cammack created the whimsical dreamcatchers & the rest of the Wildflower crew handled the table arrangements and had the honor of bringing the overall vision to life. Finally, Sweetleaf Photography worked their magic and captured this enchanting evening to make it eternal.

Recently we were able to take on and revamp another cottage on our property! This is our third private cottage and we had a blast renovating and decorating it for guests. We decided on a succulent theme and named it the Blue Agave. It took a couple of months and some elbow grease but we are so excited to share with you all the results of our hard work and team efforts. We really ban together out here at the Wildflower Country Inn, utilizing all of our staff and their talents. Stop by for a tour or book your stay today! This loft style cabin is great for a couple, friends or even a family because it has a huge king bed in the loft and pull out queen bed, for sleeping up to 4 guests!
